with business volunteers to take part in volunteering projects.

I am always looking for new projects in the region to make links with. The way our projects work is that a team of up to 12 business volunteers spend a day at a project, this could be painting and decorating a community centre or old peoples home (for example we had a company decorating a day room at an Alzheimer’s day centre) or creating a community garden at a centre (we have had groups creating reading gardens at primary schools in the region) or hosting a party for service users at a centre (we have held Christmas parties at St Oswald’s Hospice).

Full time Can you inspire and stimulate people and promote a culture of enterprise and entrepreneurialism? In Conjunction with the North East Business and Innovation Centre Ltd, we are looking to employ highly motivated and inspirational individuals who can identify entrepreneurship and business start up opportunities within the local communities of Sunderland.
You will have experience of working in business enterprise support using effective methods of community engagement, particularly to target those from disadvantaged groups. Do you have the skills to engage the local community in volunteering? We require an energetic and inspirational person who has experience of working with pre-school children and the wider community to recruit, select and support volunteers through accredited and non accredited learning. Previous experience of developing volunteering opportunities and delivering training is desirable.

Chef/Cook £7 per hour
We require an experienced Chef, qualified to City & Guilds 706 level 2 or equivalent, to join our existing catering team. You will be required to produce home style cooking with flair and imagination, working with fresh, quality ingredients to create fine quality food, at realistic prices. Previous experience of staff management is desirable.
