Cares - Business in the Community, a brokerage service providing local charities and community groups
with business volunteers to take part in volunteering projects.
I am always looking for new projects in the region to make links with. The way our projects work is that a team of up to 12 business volunteers spend a day at a project, this could be painting and decorating a community centre or old peoples home (for example we had a company decorating a day room at an Alzheimer’s day centre) or creating a community garden at a centre (we have had groups creating reading gardens at primary schools in the region) or hosting a party for service users at a centre (we have held Christmas parties at St Oswald’s Hospice).
If any of you are interested in taking part in a project please contact
