All young people living in the Southwick and St Peter’s Wards.

Project venues / locations:

Swan Street Centre, Monkwearmouth

Membership of 100
30 young people/week attend youth work sessions

Core work programme:

  • Youth groups take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 5-7pm.

    Activities offered include:
  • Access to IT facilities
  • Sports activities
  • Issue based discussion groups
  • Healthy eating activities
  • Access to SHOWT, smoking cessation support and Chlamydia screening Additional activities are organised to take place during school holiday periods subject to the availability of funding.

  • Learning Direct (over 16’s only with approval from USI)
